The 2016 Mazda MX-5 Miata has long been coming and long been in our minds at Lancaster Mazda; unfortunately, it won’t be until at least later this year that we’ll get our hands on it at the dealership.
In the meantime, however, there’s no need to twiddle our thumbs. Well, actually we can—on gamepads. On March 17th, the fourth-generation MX-5 became available for download as part of a Mazda Car Pack on Forza Horizon 2, the popular driving game available on the Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
It doesn’t stop there for fans of the world’s most successful two-seater sports car. The Mazda Car Pack will also include representatives from each of the roadster’s first three generations, including the 1990 MX-5, the turbocharged 2005 Mazdaspeed MX-5, and the 2010 Mazda MX-5 Super 20 Concept.
Additionally, the automaker is offering gamers a chance to win a 2016 MX-5. Those interested just need to set the fastest lap they can in the virtual car around the Sisteron Perimeter Spring Circuit by April 30. The fastest two drivers will be pit against each other in a head-to-head race to win the car!
